Focus

Implement and develop occupational therapy intervention for hospitalized patients in acute care settings to enhance performance in Activities of Daily Living (ADL).
Assessment of occupational performance during ADL tasks and impairment in process and motor skills.
Implement and develop interventions targeting oropharyngeal dysphagia for hospitalized patients in acute care setting
Screening, assessment, and training of oropharyngeal dysphagia.
Assessment of functional limitations and compensatory strategies, guidance and delivery of aiding devices and assessment of need for further rehabilitation.
Focus on enhancing physical activities during hospital stay.
Optimizing interdisciplinary communication at the hospital and across primary and secondary health sectors to achieve optimal and evidence-based rehabilitation.
Ongoing focus on quality assurance of documentation practices.
