About
Merete holds a master's degree in human physiology specialized in biomechanics of human movement and motor skill development. She has more than seven years of experience working with interdisciplinary clinical research at Hvidovre Hospital, evaluating surgical and non-surgical treatment of various orthopaedic and neurological movement disorders using 3D biomechanical motion analyses at the Human Movement Analysis Lab.
Parallel to her research she has conducted clinical gait analyses as part of diagnostics and evaluation in pediatric and neurologic orthopedic patients at Hvidovre Hospital.
She has been associated with SORC-C as pre-PhD since 2019 planning and securing funds for a large RCT in collaboration with the department of physiotherapy at University College Copenhagen on surgical reconstruction of ruptures of the anterior cruciate ligament.
