We are committed to advance the understanding of women's and reproductive health. With a focus on innovation and collaboration, our group aim to drive research innovation by exploring the biological underpinnings of the health issues affecting women today. Our team's passion and dedication fuel our mission to improve health of women worldwide.​

Our team is multidisciplinary and includes expert research nurses, laboratory technicians, data scientists, and clinicians. We train students from various fields interested in the intersection between women's health and data science. ​

Henriette Svarre Nielsen
As a consultant specializing in reproductive medicine, Henriette leads high-impact research focused on the complex mechanisms underlying reproductive disorders. She specializes in establishing ambitious clinical cohorts to advance the understanding of women’s diseases. Additionally, she serves as the founder and Chair of the Maternity Foundation, dedicated to reducing maternal mortality worldwide.​

David Westergaard
As a health data scientist focused on women's health, David leads high-impact research that integrates multi-omics profiles with rich clinical and real-world data to reveal disease biology and identify clinically relevant biomarkers. He spearheads the application of Bayesian methods and AI to high-dimensional, heterogeneous biomedical data and translates advanced modeling into decision-support tools that can be used in real clinical settings.​​

Karina Banasik
​A computational geneticist with extensive experience in the genetics of common complex diseases, bioinformatics, and statistical epidemiology. Her primary research focuses on analysis of large-scale omics data, addressing the challenges of integrating genetic datasets with multi-omics layers to shed light on human variation and its impact on precision women’s health.​ ​
