Appointments with a midwife

You will be offered four to six consultations with a midwife during your pregnancy. The midwife will monitor the pregnancy and your baby's development and talk to you about healthy habits while pregnant. You will also discuss the physical changes you will experience and the emotional changes that you and your partner may experience during the pregnancy. The midwife will also help you prepare for the birth.

We strive to ensure that you see the same midwife throughout your pregnancy. We recommend that you keep your scheduled appointments, as we cannot guarantee that you will see the same midwife if changes are made.

Worth knowing

Antenatal classes

We provide different types of antenatal classes depending on your pregnancy. We offer antenatal classes for first-time parents, partners, twin pregnancies, and English speakers. You can sign up for antenatal classes via your midwife or the secretary at the midwife center.

We recommend that you download and use the apps MinGraviditet and MinSP.

In the app MinGraviditet, you can view medical records from your general practitioner and midwife-center, see measurements and scans, find professional healthcare advice and information, and find information about the development of your pregnancy week by week.

On www.minsundhedsplatform.dk and in the app MinSP you can view your upcoming appointments, change appointment times or sign up for childbirth preparation classes.

There is a questionnaire on Min Sundhedsplatform, which we ask you to complete as soon as possible. The quistionnaire is available from the time you have booked your first trimester scan, so you may already have completed the questionnaire.
