How do I prevent infection?

• Do not take baths in the tub, swimming pool, or open sea until your stitches have been removed and the surgical site has healed

Pain after the operation

• In most cases the pills you have bought at the pharmacy will be sufficient to relieve pain.
• You can read more about your pain medicine on the next page
• If you experience severe pain, you should get in contact with a doctor

After the operation

• You must have an adult with you for the first night after the operation.
• You are not allowed to operate vehicles for 24 hours after the operation.

What to do if you feel unwell?

You should seek medical assistance, if:

• You feel unwell
• You get a fever of more than 38 degrees C
• You have increasing pain
• You experience swelling, redness, or tenderness around the surgical site
