GUF - The Group of Young Researchers

GUF welcomes all young researchers and people with an interest in research working at Amager and Hvidovre Hospital. GUF (Gruppen af Unge Forskere) is the Danish abbreviation for The Group of Young Researchers. The group is a professional network for the hospital's Ph.D. students and other young researchers.

Next GUF meeting: Enthusiasm and why – Lars Grindsted, The Lundbeck Foundation

Winning funding for research ideas is tough, and turning a good idea into a funded research project takes significant preparation. The preparation and planning done, before actually filling out the grant application, and efforts to align the project goals with those of the funding agency are among the most important predictors of successful grant applications.

Our next meeting will take place Friday 16 March at 12.00, meeting room 2, Vandrehallen, where Lars Grindsted, Head of Grant Operations at the Lundbeck Foundation, will tell more about how to write a good grant application with his talk “Enthusiasm and why”.

Bring your colleagues and research buddies and get some good insights into writing an appealing grant application.

Please send an e-mail to GUF ( if you expect to participate in this event. Registration is not binding.
